I’m hella sick and off that prescribed lean right now and I’m not sure if this beat tape is either enhancing my mood or making the side effects a little too trippy. In any case, Speaking In MIDI is a brief 8-track record filled with some beautiful/nasty production by St. Louis beatmaker Abnormal. Never heard of this guy until now and I have to say he’s brilliantly carrying that Midwest swing along with that Los Angeles experimentation on this joint.
